Austin Powers rape suspect
The actor who played Random Task in the first "Austin Powers" movie has been charged with a vicious gang rape.
Joe Son's arrest has been all over newspapers in the O.C., but no one connected the dots -- that the suspect is actually Dr. Evil's henchman -- until now.
Here's how it all went down. Son pleaded guilty back in May to felony vandalism. The plea required him to fork over a DNA sample. Investigators ran his sample and found Son's DNA connected him to an unsolved gang rape back in 1990, where a woman was pistol-whipped, raped, threatened with death and eventually blindfolded and released naked.
Son has been charged with five felony counts of rape, two felony counts of forcible sodomy, two felony counts of sodomy in concert by force, seven felony counts of forcible oral copulation, and one felony count of sexual penetration by foreign object by force.
Son faces a maximum sentence of 275 years to life if convicted.

These are not miniatures!
Time shift photography is here you change the focus and the angle of a normal photograph or film image to make it appear to be built from miniatures...and it looks pretty insane.

How very creepy
Apparently this guy, Ángel Pantoja Medina, knew that he was gonna get killed and asked that he wanted to be mourned standing up. So instead of lying down in a coffin, he is leaning against a wall. It seriously creeps me out. I GUESS the family should have respected his wishes...but still!

I hate Postsecret
I'll be honest with you. I used to love postsecret. The idea that people were actually sending in their secrets and the fact that some were so strange was wonderful to me. But now, now I just hate postsecret. I hate it because this bastard named Frank is actually selling books with the secrets. This guy didn't write a book. He's selling other people's secrets! Just the thought that this guy MIGHT be making a living off of these books drives me insane. And to be honest sometimes I don't buy the secrets either. Like when I read something so ridiculous I just feel like going "really? you really enjoy doing that?" cause yea....Oh and sometimes the secrets are just so overdramatic and retarded. Like when I read the usual "I was gonna kill myself but I wrote this instead"...hmm...maybe you should have gone to see a shrink...perhaps? I mean, there are ads for the books and for the facebook everywhere on the damn thing. Okay so maybe you relate to some of the secrets. Maybe they touch you in some way. But don't dive into a pool of pity and despair. Geeeeeeez.

Bigfoot update
Yea, that whole bigfoot thing turned out to be a fake. DNA tests proved that one of the two samples of DNA taken came from a human, and the other was 96 percent from an opossum. Oh well.

Bigfoot?
Matthew Whitton and Rick Dyer, a pair of Bigfoot-hunting weirdos from Georgia claim they've found a bigfoot corpse and nearby there were other live ones. The carcass of the furry half-man, half-ape is 7 feet, 7 inches tall and weighs more than 500 pounds, they say. But here's the thing, they won't say where the body is because they don't want anyone disturbing it. The group says the animal is male, has reddish hair and "blackish-gray" eyes and human-like feet, hands and teeth. The skeptic in me says "yeah, right" but the x-files lover also says "oh boy!"

Dragonball posters
Eh, I know I'm kinda late but I saw the new-ish posters for the new Dragonball movie. And I have to say that I'm not impressed. Not only that but it really doesn't have the look OR feel of the Dragonball I used to watch. I almost feel like they UNdragonballed it. Below is Emmy Rossum as Bulma and Justin Chatwin as Goku.
Oh and here are promotional photos featuring Eriko Tamura (Mai), Jamie Chung (Chi-Chi) and Justin Chatwin (Goku). from http://mymovie.blogbus.com/

Hand Shadows
I think I'm obsessed with random talents. And my newest obsession is hand shadow shows, so I just thought I'd share some videos I found!
Okay, so that last one wasn't hand shadows...it was more like interpretive dance shadows...but its still pretty neat.

Montauk Monster
What seems to be floating around the internet lately is a photo of a "monster that washed up on the shores on Montauk, NY. As usual I find out after everyone has seen it. I think it's probably a dead pit bull or bulldog...some sort of dog or raccoon, perhaps. I mean, it doesn't look it but roaming around the ocean for who knows how long could change the appearance of anything.

Rise to the Ashes?
Sam Raimi has been hinting at an Evil Dead 4 for years and it seems that it may finally come true. During the Comic-Con this weekend, he was promoting his film, Drag Me To Hell, and he had this to say:
“I love working with Bruce Campbell… He’s super willing to do anything to make it right. He’s a very funny guy, but mostly he’s got this quality where he will physically do anything to get the shot done right, so I would love to work with Bruce again because I’d love to test those limits.
I’d love to make another Evil Dead picture. And actually that’s in the wheelhouse. I’d like to work on it with my brother Ivan [Raimi] when he comes up next week."
Hopefully its not too late to bring back The Chin to the masses!

A dark conundrum
Today, I've read a lot of people saying that they think that Johnny Depp would have been able to play a better joker than Heath Ledger in The Dark Knight. I've also read that some people think that Katie Holmes did a better job than Maggie Gyllenhaal. Now I personally totally disagree on both counts but I'm wondering what does anyone else think? Wait...does anyone even read this blog? *crickets* Oh well!

MTV sucks...
Apparently MTV is going to remake The Rocky Horror Picture Show. The remake will use the original script but…”may also include music not featured in the original.” Not only that but it will be a 2-hour TV movie...I personally don't see how they could possibly remake it...but I'm sure they will find a way to massacre the shit out of it.

Pampered pussy
I found an article in The New York Times about a new health spa for women...only for women...cause its for vajay-jays. The place is called Phit and it was created by Dr. Lauri Romanzi (yep, its a chick), a gynecologist who performs pelvic reconstruction surgery.
I'll just give you some snipets from the article:
"The spa is essentially a gussied-up examination room down the hall from Dr. Romanzi’s medical practice. At the spa, the signature treatment will be a $150 gynecological exam — in which a client contracts her pelvic muscles around Dr. Romanzi’s fingers — to determine by feel whether muscle tone is weak, moderate or strong." 150 BUCKS!?!?!?!!?...yikes.
“If you can vote and you have a vagina, you should do these,” she (doc. octopussy) said. “It’s the dental floss of feminine fitness.”
“The outer layer can become almost scrotal, very wrinkly and lax,” Dr. Romanzi said" ....ew....
btw, some some of the procedures include
- Kegel Phitness
- Do-It-Yourself
- Baby Boot Camp
- Inner Strength Personal Trainer
- The "Other" Face Lift
- Lazy Susan
- Core Restore
- Lip Sync
