I know this video is about a year old but I just saw it recently, and I think its hilarious.

Rise to the Ashes?
Sam Raimi has been hinting at an Evil Dead 4 for years and it seems that it may finally come true. During the Comic-Con this weekend, he was promoting his film, Drag Me To Hell, and he had this to say:
“I love working with Bruce Campbell… He’s super willing to do anything to make it right. He’s a very funny guy, but mostly he’s got this quality where he will physically do anything to get the shot done right, so I would love to work with Bruce again because I’d love to test those limits.
I’d love to make another Evil Dead picture. And actually that’s in the wheelhouse. I’d like to work on it with my brother Ivan [Raimi] when he comes up next week."
Hopefully its not too late to bring back The Chin to the masses!

A dark conundrum
Today, I've read a lot of people saying that they think that Johnny Depp would have been able to play a better joker than Heath Ledger in The Dark Knight. I've also read that some people think that Katie Holmes did a better job than Maggie Gyllenhaal. Now I personally totally disagree on both counts but I'm wondering what does anyone else think? Wait...does anyone even read this blog? *crickets* Oh well!

Harry Potter 6
Just saw the trailer for Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince and it looks pretty good. I love how the movies look more mature and darker compared to the first ones. So anyways...enjoy!

MTV sucks...
Apparently MTV is going to remake The Rocky Horror Picture Show. The remake will use the original script but…”may also include music not featured in the original.” Not only that but it will be a 2-hour TV movie...I personally don't see how they could possibly remake it...but I'm sure they will find a way to massacre the shit out of it.

Pampered pussy
I found an article in The New York Times about a new health spa for women...only for women...cause its for vajay-jays. The place is called Phit and it was created by Dr. Lauri Romanzi (yep, its a chick), a gynecologist who performs pelvic reconstruction surgery.
I'll just give you some snipets from the article:
"The spa is essentially a gussied-up examination room down the hall from Dr. Romanzi’s medical practice. At the spa, the signature treatment will be a $150 gynecological exam — in which a client contracts her pelvic muscles around Dr. Romanzi’s fingers — to determine by feel whether muscle tone is weak, moderate or strong." 150 BUCKS!?!?!?!!?...yikes.
“If you can vote and you have a vagina, you should do these,” she (doc. octopussy) said. “It’s the dental floss of feminine fitness.”
“The outer layer can become almost scrotal, very wrinkly and lax,” Dr. Romanzi said" ....ew....
btw, some some of the procedures include
- Kegel Phitness
- Do-It-Yourself
- Baby Boot Camp
- Inner Strength Personal Trainer
- The "Other" Face Lift
- Lazy Susan
- Core Restore
- Lip Sync

Bradgelina babies!
Well, its official...It seems that Angelina Jolie has given birth to twins in the French Riviera. Though sources say that they were immediately given up for adoption, only to be adopted by them a few minutes later.

The creatures and the sets are always incredible...so anyways I found some of the concept art for some creatures from the troll market...so enjoy!

Uhm...I know I had told myself I wouldn't write anything private here and I'd just talk about things I saw around the net but eh...I don't know. It turns out that this morning my great grandma passed away and I still can't get over it. She was 98, which means she lived a long and healthy life. She always seemed to be immortal, hell even my grandma would joke about how she would outlive her. And for a while, it seemed like it would be true. Its just one of those things that you knew would happen at some point but just didn't expect it to ever happen. I mean, I didn't cry or anything. For her last few years she was bitter and mean. She would constantly mistreat my grandma who practically gave up her life to take care of her. Ever seen The Haunting...you know, the lady that could hear her mom banging on her door with the cane even after she died. It was like that sort of deal. To be honest, I really disliked my great grandma for the way she treated my grandma. Its almost like the had a sick love/hate relationship and I couldn't stand it. About a year back things got so bad that my grandma put her in an old people's home, and I really couldnt have been happier. I felt like it was a leech that had finally be removed, and I know that sounds terribly cruel but if my great grandma had a full life where she traveled and did as she pleased, why couldnt my grandma? My grandma is still young, why does she have to waste her life away on someone that already had a great life...I don't know... Anyways, I went to visit my great grandma at the home a couple of months back and...I got really sad. She had lost tons of weight and could hardly move out of bed. She looked like an empty shell...like she was well, slowly dying. I couldnt handle it...I felt like I had to go away and shower so as to not bring it along with me...I don't know exactly what 'it' was, but I know I didnt want it. Anyways...Now she's gone and I don't even know what to feel. I'm happy I guess, that she won't suffer...that she will be in a better place...that she will finally be in peace. But I can't help but be terrofied for my grandma...I don't know how she will deal with it...My grandma, who practically raised me...I can't help but just be nervous

What's in a word?
http://edition.cnn.com/2008/US/07/07/new.dictionary.words.ap/index.html
The dictionary has added a bunch of new words, most of which are for the hip and trendy crowd.
Some of the new words include:
edamame- immature green soybeans
pescatarian-a vegetarian who eats fish (so not really a vegetarian)
prosecco- a sparkling Italian wine
infinity pool- an outdoor pool with an edge designed to make water appear to flow into the horizon
So...is there a new word that means full of shit?

maraschino...maraschino...

I had heard of this a while back but since my boyfriend might be doing something similar for his audio class, I decided to look it up again. Just put on earphones, close your eyes, and relax!

If you're happy and you know it...
So I read an article about the happiest countries and I was happy to see that most countries are relatively happy. The countries that are happiest generally have high literacy rate, high education levels, low unemployment rates, and plenty of natural resources. But don't think that all those things (and a lot of money) are the only things that matter in when questioning happiness. It turns out that many countries that have a rich culture and lots of national pride ranked happier than others. By the way, United States ranked 17th...meaning I guess, that the land of opportunities still has room for improvement. So here's a rundown of the happiest countries:
10- Norway: filled with natural resources like petroleum, hidropower, fish forests, and minerals. It also has a high literacy rate, education level and per-capita income.
9- Mexico: Although there are still many poor areas, most people are very optimistic. Mexico also has a wonderfully rich culture, natural beauty and scientific import.
8- Ireland: They sure don't let the rainy weather let them down. In 2005, Ireland topped a quality-of-life index compiled by The Economist based on nine criteria that ranged from health to gender equality to political freedom.
7- Luxembourg: Though its a small country its citizens are insanely proud of they're heritage and it doesn't hurt that Luxembourg' economy is high-performing, boasting low inflation and low unemployment.
6- Guatemala: Another point for Central America! Even though it may not be as well off economically they still manage to be happy campers.
5- Canada: No surprise there...Canadia's score was largely due to its citizens' health, wealth and access to education, eh?
4- Sweden: They're government boasts many services such as tax-funded child care, paid parental leave, ceilings on health care costs, tax-funded education up to and including college, retirement pensions and tax-funded dental care for citizens until they turn 20.
3- Australia: Australians were found to be happier than citizens of other nations even though they tended to work long hours and enjoyed less job security.
2- Finland: It is the freest nation in the world when it comes to civil liberties, freedom of the press, low corruption levels and high levels of political rights. Oh and guess what? Traffic ticket fines are based on your ability to pay!
1- Iceland: The country is a favorite stamping ground of artists and cultivates a creative spirit. Indeed, the government supports writers with generous subsidies. So I guess that's where I'll be moving to...
